The successful combo comes back. Dhanush and Subramaniam Siva, who gave super hit movie Thiruda Thirudi, is all set to join hands for Seedan.

Amith of Myth Productions, who has produced films like ‘Ayyar The Great’ and ‘Kaalapani’ in Malayalam, ‘Gardish’ and ‘Chandni Bar’ in Hindi and the solitary Tamil film ‘Aaha’, is launching his second Tamil film titled ‘Seedan’ starring Dhanush in the lead. The film is directed by Sumbrmaniam Siva, who directed the star in ‘Thiruda Thirudi’.

‘Nadodigal’ Ananya pairs up opposite Dhanush as the heroine. Newcomer Krishna, Suhasini, Sheela of ‘Chemmeen’ fame, Ponvannan and Ilavarasu are among the cast while Vivek would take of the comedy portion in the film.

Art director Jackie of ‘Paruthiveeran’ fame has reportedly erected a huge palace inside the Prasad Studios at a whopping cost of Rs.1.20 crores for shooting certain sequences in the film. Cinematographer Srinivas Devamsam, a protégé of P.C. Sreeram, has managed to capture the Nature’s beauty in all its glory.
